Hi Everyone
I have been a Rubettes fan ever since the seventies when they first started performing and I am thinking of holding an event for the boys to perform live at a venue in Clapham depending on the number of replies. So if you loved the Rubettes and their music and still do please feel free to get in touch. Here are some comments that people have made who has attended their gigs. The band is touring in Europe at present with some gigs here in the U.K but not London so this is the reason I am contemplating doing this, so come on guys and gals show your support and show the love to the Rubettes featuring Alan Williams.
If you are interested feel free to e-mail me at sugarbabylove12@gmail.com
I am looking to do this later on this year (TBA) Replies asap.

If you are old enough to remember the 1970's or you just love '70's pop then The Rubettes featuring Alan Williams are a must see. Alan Williams for those who don't know is the ORIGINAL lead singer of the Rubettes. The band also consists of the original Drummer John Richardson and original bass guitarist Mick Clarke. They are a four piece band now with talented keyboard player Mark Haley a welcome addition to a fabulous band.
They play all the the Rubettes hits exactly as you remember them. Alan's voice is as good as ever, John Richardson is an amazing drummer. A fantastic nights entertainment.
So do yourself a favour forget your grey hair, laughter lines and middleage spread and relive your youth for an hour or so!! You know you want to......

I have seen the Rubes(ft Alan Williams) many times, and have never left disappointed. I was also a SWW fan until I 'converted' Sadly Dave from the Wad's is clearly struggling. But then you have to remember their ages. Alan from the Rubes just seems ageless (apart from his hair). The Rubettes give a great show, money well spent.
